First off, I've got a Facebook page set up for the blog. I'm not sure why or what I'm going to do with it, but, it seemed like a good idea at the time. If you have a second or two, why not give it a like? 'preciate it.

Two weeks ago, I had a vague idea about what I'd read this month, mostly just killing time until the new Iron Druid Chronicles installment, Staked came out, and then I started getting some requests from authors/promoters, and some books I'd been waiting for at the Library came in, and now...if I can catch my breath before February 10th, I'll be happy. This is not a complaint -- quite the contrary. Just saying I've had a really good couple of weeks, and the blog will be busy for quite some time. I definitely will have some interviews coming soon, too.

Moving on to the odds 'n ends from the last week about books and reading that caught my eye. You've probably seen some/most/all of them, but just in case:

  • Once a Crooked Man by David McCallum -- NCIS' Ducky has written what looks to be a fun thriller.
  • Reflections by Seanan McGuire -- This is probably the last time I mention this book for a few months -- it's complete now and available as ebook or paperback. Recommended.
  • Level Up Your Life by Steve Kamb -- Yeah, not the typical fare for this blog, but I dig the blog (don't follow it like I should), bet the book is at least fun to read.

Lastly, I'd like to say hi and welcome to One for the Books for following the booklikes version of the blog this week.
